An American Classic is back in action! These Tim Mee #729 M48 Patton Tanks are once again proudly manufactured in the United States and available as this 3 piece set. Each tank features a turret that rotates, measures 6.5 inches long and is approximately 1:48 scale. Made from slightly stiff olive-green color HDPE plastic with lots of crisp detail and very little flashing. The first version of this vehicle was produced in 1964 and modeled after the M48A2 Patton tank. It was modified several times over the decades until the final version seen here. This may be the most popular and most widely copied toy tank of all time. These are real toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up and played with for years to come. Recommended for ages 5 to 105!
